Research

Research in the Wilson lab is focused on developing new nanomaterials for medical applications. Projects in the lab vary from developing new multimodal imaging agents for disease diagnosis to finding new ways to track stem cells to determine treatment efficacy. Other projects include developing ways to treat cancer by using nanoparticles for drug delivery or thermal treatment. We work in collaboration with many research groups throughout the Texas Medical Center to bring new nanotechnologies to the clinic.
